A picture is worth 1,000 words

And if you didn't make it to the victory party last night, there's video here. If you're like some of us, you may find yourself crying when John starts singing.

WE FIRED SUE KELLY!

Comments:
While I am excited to see this headline, I don't currently see it on their site.. it only says "leads".

Sue Kelly will speak in Katonah at 12. Wonder what she'll say?

Kudos to all! Just remember that John only carried Westchester, although a fantastic job was done keeping him really close behind Sue in the other 4 counties of the 19th. In the end, that turned out to be enough! I'm sure that Mr. Hall will work for all of us, though, and not for big business, and that will benefit everyone in the 19th!

Huzzah!

Ahhh, the angry leftist gadfly troll re-emerges!

Yeah, yeah, Hall was behind in Putnam and Dutchess 1000 votes each. He was slightly ahead in Orange, and WAY ahead in Westchester. Still, he was ahead over all, and you can spin it however you want, but Hall still won, crybaby. (BTW, it's spelled breathlessly...) He'll STILL be your Congressman, whether you like it or not (assuming you even live in the 19th), and I bet you won't have to donate a few grand to his next campaign just to get him to talk to you.

Suck it up, big boys don't cry...

{snicker}

We're guessing that "angry leftist gadfly" must have taken some of the drugs that he and other Kelly supporters mocked John Hall for using.

Either that, or he didn't hear Kelly's ridiculous mutual fund attack or see the poorly Photoshopped flyer with John and Kim Jung Il, or catch any of the other attacks.

John and his team ran a clean campaign that focused on the issues. If they had chosen to attack Kelly, there was plenty of ammo, but they kept their eyes focused on the prize and worked their butts off.

Sue Kelly not conceding yet, details here...

Keep deluding yourself Sue. Besides, if you did win, if you thought the last 2 years were bad with all us mean bloggers picking on you, just think about what the NEXT 2 years would be like!

VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!

Ole honest Abe once said:

"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time."

Words to remember today.....

Congrats to Take 19 I remember last year in the winter of 2005 when a group of you got together to plan for this election and this group was formed. Your work was a crucial part in helping to elect a Democrat to the 19th CD this year.

Sue's statement today can be seen here...

I like when she was asked what the new Dem majority will mean for the nation. Quick like a bunny, she tells us that the stock market is down, with this little "I told you so" smirk. (What does THAT tell you about Sue's priorities, eh?)

Sue, I hate to burst your bubble (well, not really. I kinda like bursting her bubble, come to think of it!), but the Dow Jones Industrials hit a new record high today. This from the AP...

"Wall Street rose for a third straight session Wednesday, with the Dow Jones industrials reaching another record close as investors grew more confident that a huge victory by Democrats in congressional elections would result in gridlock and keep lawmakers out of the way of business interests.... Stocks showed gains following the announcement that Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld will resign."

What a day! Sue gets fired, and Rumsfeld quits!

Is life good, or what?

I didn't recall hear Foley mentioned in any of Sue's ads. On the other hand, she tried to convince those ignorant enough to believe it that owning the biggest mutual fund in the country was an un-American thing to do. How anyone could be stupid enough to vote for her after that is anyone's guess (but obviously Putnam voters were fooled).
