"Sue Kelly" appeals to "supporters." Protect me from the "bloggers."

Sue Kelly's latest missive to her supporters is out and it's a hoot. Sue's all afraid of the big bad "liberal" "bloggers" (the air quotes are hers, you can't make this stuff up folks).
And of course, we'll need your financial support to counter what
promises to be a hard-hitting campaign. Thanks to the concerted
effort of the 'bloggers' to 'nationalize' this race, I fully expect
my democratic opponent to be the best funded Democrat I have ever
faced. As thousands of dollars pour into their coffers from Howard
Dean Democrats from around the country, I'll need your help to fight
back.
"Nationalize??" Do you think she might be referring to the failure of her political bosses who took a surplus and turned it into trillions in debt, a robust economy and turned it into recession and took us into the quagmire of Iraq while failing to secure the Homeland and capture the real perpetrator of 9/11?

Could be.

Comments:
In the alternative universe that is the Republican worldview, voters are not supposed to pay attention to what their elected officials do, allegedly on the voter's behalf. The thing that the GOP fears the most is attention like Joe "Sore Loser" Lieberman, a Democrat in name only, got from bloggers. Not that folks hadn't caught on to Joe's antics in support of Bush and his policies a long while back. It just took the bloggers to draw national attention to it, and the people of CT said "No way, Jose." Now the only major endorsements he has are from Republicans and their shills, like Hannity.

This kind of stuff really worries the GOP, because the only way they know how to run a campaign is to throw money at it, and go negative. They can't deal with someone writing a blog and putting fact-based opinions out there for everyone to see. (and it's not that expensive, either!)

Ever think about why we have 4 Dems lined up to oppose Sue? It's because we are all sick and tired of Bush's BS, and HER unwavering support of it. We'll be down to one candidate after tomorrow, and we'll be lined up behind that candidate. First we take back the House, then we ask the tough questions, and if the American people don't like the answers, then we'll see what happens...

It took 9/11 to get me to the point where I paid attention to politics, and I am not going to sit back any more and be a passive participant/spectator/voter. Yes, I'm a LIBERAL, and I'm f--king proud of it. I don't see it as a pejorative term, and I make no apologies about it. Yes, I'm one of the blogosphere, and I'm having a blast doing it! (You can check out my blog via the link.) And hey, I'm LOCAL! I live here in the 19th, and Sue Kelly does NOT represent me, my views, the views of my neighbors, or pretty much anyone in the nation, except for corporate interests, and the 27% whackjobs still in denial about the "heckuva job" that Bush is doing.

More distortions, more invective, more anger from the Angry Left. Have you people any decency at all?"

Yes kooko (which is usually spelled Cuckoo, not kooko. Typical misspellings from the Illiterate Right...), we have lots of decency, and self-respect, too! You've got to admit, we have plenty to be angry about, n'est-ce pas? (That's French, in case you were wondering.) We try not to be angry, just snarky, and we ALWAYS back up our opinions with FACTS, unlike the distortions, invective, and anger from the Right, when, say, Bill Clinton was in office. I'm sure you never even gloated back then, kooko? (In a pig's eye...)

Hey, kooko, here's a quote for you that you might actually learn something from-

"My country, right or wrong' is a thing no patriot would ever think of saying except in a desperate case. It is like saying 'My mother, drunk or sober."
-Gilbert K. Chesterton

Let us know if you need help with the big words...

BTW, kooko, I'd love to visit your blog, "Angry Left for Socialism," but there's nothing there. I'd be fascinated to see your clarity of thought in print, along with all of your citations of where you get your facts. You seem to think that anyone to the left of, say, Rudy Giuliani, advocates Socialism or Communism. They are different, BTW, look it up. (I'm not going to do all of your thinking for you. Although, goodness knows, somebody has to.I myself happen to be very capitalistic. I just hate to see the one party currently in charge advocating Corporatism, while doing absolutely nothing to help us small-level capitalists, AKA the Middle Class. Here's a for instance- Gas was recently up around $3.40. Now, it's down around $2.89. Can you tell me what George Bush, Dick Cheney, or Sue Kelly did to get the prices down? All right, don't hurt yourself, it's a trick question. The answer is- absolutely nothing.
